I am a private equity lawyer with over 22 years experience in the London private equity market advising private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, investment funds, family offices, management teams and founder-led businesses on domestic and cross-border transactions.

I advise across the full private equity investment cycle, including acquisitions and platform investments, buy-and-build strategies, bolt-on acquisitions, carve-outs, refinancings, restructurings, management incentive arrangements and disposals and strategic exits. I have particular experience in healthcare services, pharma and pharma services and life sciences, as well as consumer and real estate.

I am known for pragmatic, commercially focused advice and for managing transactions efficiently through demanding timetables and competitive processes. I seek to combine transaction leadership with an emphasis on long-term sponsor and portfolio-company relationships, helping clients with transformational M&A.

I previously developed the “Outsourcing the Company Secretary” model, enabling private equity-backed businesses to access a broader suite of legal services for day-to-day and ad hoc requirements while building institutional knowledge of the portfolio company for management and investors.
