I lead Shoosmiths’ automotive finance practice, advising on regulated and unregulated asset finance, consumer credit and financial services compliance. My work spans wholesale funding, joint ventures, leasing and white-label partnerships. I help clients navigate regulatory change and structure strategic partnerships that drive growth. Recent projects include FCA applications, online distribution models and joint venture set-ups for leading motor finance providers.

Before joining Shoosmiths, I spent 25 years in senior in-house roles at global financial services and automotive businesses including Volkswagen Financial Services, GMAC, NatWest, Cisco and Santander Consumer UK. This experience gives me a unique perspective on the operational and strategic challenges facing clients in the sector.

I’m a regular speaker at industry events hosted by trade bodies such as the Finance & Leasing Association and the Asset Finance Connect. I’m known for my pragmatic advice, regulatory fluency and ability to deliver solutions that align with commercial goals.
