I am an Associate in Shoosmiths’ Corporate Restructuring & Advisory team in London, and I help businesses, lenders and stakeholders navigate complex financial restructurings with practical, commercially focused solutions.

I advise on contentious and non-contentious matters, acting for companies, insolvency practitioners, banks and creditors. My practice includes pre-pack business and asset sales, security reviews, enforcement strategies and advising boards of directors on their duties when a company is bordering on insolvency.

I have particular expertise in court based processes such as schemes of arrangement and restructuring plans, including complex cross-border matters. Recent highlights include leading on the court aspects of a company acquisition structured by way of a scheme of arrangement, acting for the scheme company, and assisting with the contested Part 26A restructuring plan of Madagascar Oil Limited. In addition, I advise on antecedent transactions, Insolvency Act claims, and pre-pack business and asset sales within the retail and financial services sectors.
