Shoosmiths has advised Atlas Health Capital on the acquisition of AGB-Pharma, a specialist pharmaceutical company focused on supporting patients living with sleep disorders.

The investment is being made through Atlas Health Fund I, which was raised in early 2026 and attracted strong investor demand. The transaction will support AGB-Pharma's next phase of growth, including international expansion and the development of its product portfolio.

The Shoosmiths corporate team was led by partner Tim Nye, supported by partner Alison Chivers, principle associates Alice Richmond and Brodie Thomson and associate Jessica Pearson.

Founded in Lund, Sweden, in 2020, AGB-Pharma has rapidly established itself as a leading player in its specialist field. The company is focused on improving outcomes for patients living with sleep disorders and has developed a strong reputation for innovation and patient-centred care.

Atlas Health Capital invests in European mid-market healthcare businesses across the MedTech, niche pharmaceutical and animal health sectors. Through its Anchor, Expand, Accelerate value creation framework, the firm partners with management teams to drive sustainable growth and long-term value creation.

The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Completion remains subject to customary regulatory approvals.
