Shoosmiths has advised Livingbridge and management on the sale of Nourish Care (“Nourish”) to private equity firm Hg, one of the world’s largest software and services investors. Shoosmiths also advised Livingbridge and management on their respective reinvestments into the business. The investment marks the beginning of the next chapter of growth for one of the UK’s most impactful care technology providers.

Published: 20 August 2026

The transaction represents a successful outcome for Livingbridge’s Enterprise 3 fund and will support Nourish in continuing the evolution of its products and services which improve customer experience, support front-line carers and enable the delivery of safer, high-quality care at scale. Livingbridge will retain a minority equity stake and continue to support the business alongside Hg.

Founded in 2011, Nourish supports care teams to plan, record and coordinate care with the person receiving support at the core of care delivery. Through its continued focus on innovation, the business has established itself as a trusted partner to many of the UK's leading care providers.

Partners Dan Shilvock, Holly Hirst and Senior Associate Alice Richmond led on the sale process and Livingbridge reinvestment, with further support from Partners Tim Nye and Elizabeth Ward. The advice in connection with the management reinvestment was led by Partner Kiran Dhesi and Senior Associates Nathan Turley and Molly Cullen. Advice was also provided by Associates Kamil Piekarski, Uzoma Udoyeh and Connor Ogdon.

Dan Shilvock, Partner at Shoosmiths, commented: “We are delighted to have advised on this significant transaction working with Livingbridge, Nuno and the Nourish team. Having supported Livingbridge on the initial investment in 2022, it has been exciting to watch the business become one of the UK’s leading care technology platforms. The commitment of Nuno and his team to improving care outcomes and Nourish’s mission of delivering better care for everyone have underpinned that growth, and we look forward to seeing the business continue its success alongside Hg with continued support from Livingbridge.”
