Shoosmiths has advised the major shareholders of PEAK:AIO, including the company’s founders and institutional investors Pembroke VCT plc and PXN Asset Management, on its sale to NASDAQ listed intelligent data infrastructure company NetApp.

Published: 6 November 2026

PEAK:AIO is a UK-based developer of AI storage software which has developed a high-performance data platform designed specifically for AI and accelerated computing workloads, helping organisations manage and access the large volumes of data required to train, deploy and operate AI models.

The deal highlights continuing strategic investment in AI infrastructure and demonstrates the increasing convergence between data storage, cloud technologies and artificial intelligence as organisations seek to unlock value from next-generation computing platforms. Having also advised the company on its initial institutional funding round led by Pembroke VCT plc, the transaction reflects Shoosmiths' continued focus on supporting innovative technology businesses, founders and investors in the Tech & AI sector at all stages of their lifecycle, including through to fast-moving cross-border M&A.

To go from initial funding round to an exit in little over 12 months is an incredible achievement and is a testament to the expertise and vision of the company and its founding team. We are delighted to have supported PEAK:AIO and its shareholders on these strategic transactions."
