Modular construction is now being endorsed to be the future of housing across the UK.

Having read recently that Cambridge City Council are using "pods" to provide accommodation for the homeless and now that Savills have announced that modular housing will "help deliver the homes of the future", it seems increasingly likely that post-COVID we will see a rapid increase in the use of what appears to be a more accurate and energy-efficient construction method, notwithstanding the challenges it poses.
