Great to see Manchester student accommodation in the press for good reasons and demand for PBSA staying strong.
With around 90,000 students across the Manchester region but only 24,000 PBSA beds in the city centre, the demand is clearly there, but we need to ensure the quality of stock is high in order to compete with other university cities and to be an attractive alternative to students currently living in private rented accommodation. PBSA can be a key component in the regeneration of parts of our city, and help to maintain Manchester as a primary student destination into the 2020s and beyond.Disclaimer
