The most important World Cup in play this week

This is an important week for all colleagues working in community rail.

Most people will not appreciate that a number of our stations are supported by willing volunteers that do everything they can to benefit their local community in so many ways.

The World Cup of Stations is a fantastic way to promote the work that these fabulous people are doing - all leading up to a national winner being announced on Friday 26 May. So, don't delay in getting your votes in!

The regional votes take place up until 24 May and then its the semi-final on 25 May.

Who's your favourite?

I had the tricky task of selecting the shortlist of 48 stations - tricky, because it represents the work of 48 groups of chuffing ace volunteers.
