Shoosmiths advises PwC on sale of Cath Kidston to Next plc

Shoosmiths has advised Zelf Hussain and Rachael Wilkinson of PwC, joint administrators of CK Acquisitions Limited, on the sale of the brand, website and intellectual property of CK Acquisitions Limited ("Cath Kidston") to Next Retail Limited.

James Keates, partner and head of Shoosmiths’ Corporate Restructuring & Advisory (CR&A) team, led on the deal, supported by CR&A partner Lee Sennett, principal associate Charlotte Broster, senior associate Louise Snipe, and associate Aadil Qureshi.

Cath Kidston is an e-commerce led, international home furnishing and lifestyle brand with headquarters in London, focussing on quintessentially British themed handicraft and vintage themed items.
