Leading UK law firm Shoosmiths has announced that Eleanor Tanner has joined as director of people.
Responsible for people strategy, core HR, recruitment, reward and benefits, learning and development, diversity and inclusion, and corporate social responsibility, she leads a team supporting over 1,400 people across Shoosmiths’ 13 locations.
Eleanor was most recently head of human resources EMEA at Macquarie Group. Earlier in her career she was an employment lawyer at Travers Smith. She is a trustee of Galop, the LGBT+ anti-abuse charity, and chair of its people sub-committee.
