Shoosmiths celebrates its best ever Legal 500 results

Leading UK law firm Shoosmiths is celebrating its best ever Legal 500 results, with 120 practice rankings, up from 115 last year.

Shoosmiths’ results include eight new rankings. Of the 120 rankings, 33 are top tier in the tables.

There were four moves into tier one, including Insolvency and Corporate Recovery (West Midlands) and Employment (Beds, Bucks, Herts, Middx).

The firm has also had 29 rankings across its divisions and locations move up a tier.

Simon Boss, CEO of Shoosmiths, said: “We await the Legal 500 results with anticipation every year, and we are thrilled with the recognition received in the 2022 guide.

“This is a testament to the hard work of everybody at Shoosmiths, and the exceptional client service and experience that we strive to provide every day. We also thank our clients and contacts who have given their time to respond to researchers at the publication.

“We believe these results are a good barometer to show we are edging ever closer to achieving our ambition to be the leading UK law firm in the UK, famous for its client experience.

“We are pleased that from a divisional perspective, our strength and depth as a firm has been largely acknowledged and reflected – and when we analyse the results from the regional perspective, the firm continues to dominate and rank highly in many of these tables. We are especially proud that, for instance, just after opening our new London office at No.1 Bow Churchyard and welcoming a raft of lateral hires, we’re celebrating three new rankings and four that have moved up in the capital.

“These results reflect that the firm is the most visible it has ever been in the legal market – across divisions, sectors and locations. Shoosmiths is an exciting place to be.”
