Video: The Future of Scottish cities

What does the future look like in Scotland? Despite recent changes, the long-term trend of urbanisation looks set to continue, with a greater emphasis on how space can be used for social good.

In this session we discuss the changes to city-centre living and what this means for offices and retail. How do real estate and the Scottish Government work collaboratively to ensure sustainable growth for all?

Glasgow-based real estate partner, Barry McKeown, joined a panel at EG’s Future of Scottish Cities virtual event to discuss these issues and more. Barry appeared alongside:

  • Nicola Barclay, Chief Executive, Homes for Scotland
  • Jenny Laing, Co-leader, Aberdeen City Council
  • Bruce Patrick, Head of Commercial and Mixed Use Development – Scotland, Savills
