Video: The Future of Sheffield – Reshaping the heart of the city

The question of what our urban centres are used for and how they should adapt has never been more pertinent.

Recently a finalist for the 2020 European City of the Year, Sheffield’s transformation was booming when the pandemic struck. But as we gain a better understanding of the long-term changes brought about by the events of 2020, can Sheffield continue the momentum and tackle the upcoming challenges with confidence?

Sheffield-based real estate partner, Kellie Hatton, joined a panel at EG’s Future of Sheffield virtual event to tackle these issues and more. Kellie appeared alongside:

  • Alexis Krachai, chief executive, Sheffield Property Association
  • Mark Jackson, development director, Scarborough Group International
  • Martin McKervey, chair, Sheffield Property Association
  • Professor Vanessa Toulmin, director of city and culture & co-director of partnerships and regional engagement, University of Sheffield
