A group of 12 Shoosmiths colleagues in the Birmingham office completed the 10k Birmingham Legal Walk 20 May 2019 to raise money for the Midlands Legal Support Trust.
The Midland Legal Support Trust (MLST) is a grant-making charity to raise and distribute funds to organisations providing free legal advice services in the Midlands.
The charities supported by the MLST help to facilitate access to justice for the poorest, most vulnerable and most disadvantaged members of society. They provide free legal help to people facing problems such as homelessness, debt, employment, family issues, mental health problems, discrimination and injustice and they desperately need funds to support their work.
Including a firm donation £740 was raised and donated.
