Leeds CR committee completes Firewalk in support of Leeds Mind

Three members of the Leeds office’s Corporate Responsibility committee have completed a Firewalk in aid of Leeds Mind, raising a total of £651 for its 2022/23 office charity partner.

On 3rd November 2022, Jasmine Cracknell, Leo Topp and Vicky Oxley put mind over matter to walk barefoot across 630°C coals outside Leeds Art Gallery. The team made it across the fire safe and sound, albeit with rather black feet!

The office raised an incredible £501 for Leeds Mind, with the firm’s £150 contribution taking the overall amount raised to £651.

Leeds Mind provide critical mental health services in and around Leeds, including group support, 1-to-1 counselling, creative wellbeing activities, workplace wellbeing support and more. The Firewalk is just one of several fundraising events that the CR committee has been involved in this year, with many more office events planned into Christmas and the new year.
