Shoosmiths colleagues complete virtual challenge for office charity partners

Colleagues across the firm walked, ran and cycled nearly the equivalent distance of the UK to Antarctica recently in our first ever firmwide virtual challenge.

A total of 170 people clocked up an enormous 16,038km in a month long challenge that was held to support the health and wellbeing of our people while raising funds for our partner charities, with the firm donating £12,000 shared equally between our 12 office-nominated charities.

To acknowledge colleagues’ efforts the firm donated £1,000 to each of its office charity partner namely:

  • London: The Change Foundation and specifically its Street Elite Programme
  • Manchester: Business in the Community
  • Milton Keynes: The Henry Allen Trust
  • Northampton: Northamptonshire Mind
  • Nottingham: Improving Lives
  • Sheffield: Roundabout
  • Solent: Acts of Kindness
  • Thames Valley: No5
