Following on from the success of its volunteering day at the Hope Centre in Northampton, the Shoosmiths finance team decided to organise a fundraising event on Valentine’s Day.
The beneficiary charity was the Northampton office charity of the year Northampton and District Mind which helps to deliver a high quality of appropriate services for people who experience mental ill health, promoting recovery, independence and integration at all times. The charity helps to facilitate and support community integration, participation for people with mental health problems and to raise awareness of mental health.
On February 14 2020 our Northampton and Nottingham Finance teams held a Valentine's Day Cream Tea and/or Homemade Cake Sale. it was lovely to see so many people getting involved and showing their support and generosity which helped us raise a massive £367.53.
