Shoosmiths once again has supported Earth Hour, which this year took place Saturday 23 March 2024, 20.30 - 21.30.
In an internal feature we highlighted to colleagues that the global campaign, co-ordinated by WWF, was this year asking us to do two things:
- Switch off lights at this time to show symbolic support for the planet and to raise awareness of the environmental issues affecting it. Across our offices we switched off unnecessary lights at this time.
- Use that time to give an hour to Earth, spending 60 minutes doing something - anything - positive for our planet.
We invited colleagues to give an hour for Earth by checking out these suggestions from WWF.
