Shoosmiths wins Pennies from Heaven Gold award‘Shoosmiths is grateful to all colleagues who support Pennies from Heaven. Since we joined the scheme in June 2007, colleagues have donated over £35,000, assisting 56 charities. We are pleased to be part of Pennies from Heaven’s efforts to assist charities in this way.’ Nicola Ellen, Head of Corporate Responsibility.

‘When we came up with the idea of Pennies from Heaven, we always wanted it to be an easy and affordable way for people to support charities in the workplace. Despite the current economic situation, more and more people are opting to donate their pennies and all of them should feel part of the enormous difference the £6.5m total raised to date has made. Congratulations to Shoosmiths on its Pennies from Heaven Gold Award, and on behalf of all of the charities that have benefited from the £35,000 of donations can I say a huge thank you to everyone that has taken part. It just goes to show the difference that giving away a few pence every month can make.’ Kate Frost CEO Pennies from Heaven.
