Adam is an Associate in the Business Crime & Regulatory team. He advises on a range of regulatory compliance matters, including advertising and marketing (CAP & BCAP Codes, misleading advertising & DMCCA 2024, comparative advertising, pricing claims and promotional marketing, prize draws and competitions, environmental claims, sector specific advertising i.e. alcohol, food supplements), product safety considerations and general product compliance, food and beverage (health and nutrition claims, LHF/HFSS foods, labelling/allergens, PPDS), and environmental and health & safety law.

After originally training with Shoosmiths between 2019 and 2021 (which included a secondment with a multinational retailer), Adam joined the Safety, Health and Environment team of an international law firm, where he was involved in a broad range of product safety and compliance, environmental and health and safety matters.
 
In 2023, Adam joined the UK’s advertising regulator (ASA/CAP). In his role as an Advice Executive, Adam advised media owners and advertisers on all aspects of the CAP Code, and provided training to a variety of internal marketing teams on misleading advertising and pricing practices. Adam drafted and maintained numerous advice notes on misleading advertising in his role as a Consumer Protection / DMCCA specialist. 
 
Adam re-joined Shoosmiths as an Associate in 2025.
