Becca joined Shoosmiths in 2024 as an associate in the Real Estate Litigation team.

Becca assists national housebuilders, social landlords and investors by providing advisory services and routinely dealing with contentious property matters in the High Court, County Court and First Tier Tribunal and Upper Tribunal (Residential Property).

Becca’s areas of expertise include landlord and tenant disputes, leasehold enfranchisement and residential property portfolio management.

Recent experience:

  • Acting for a major supermarket operator in dealing with anti-social behaviour issues from residential tenants in mixed use premises.
  • Acting for a landlord in breach of covenant and forfeiture proceedings concerning unauthorised Airbnb subletting
  • Acting on behalf of a residents’ association before the FTT in proceedings concerning a s27A application challenging the reasonableness of service charges, and in the subsequent appeal before the Upper Tribunal.

Becca is also a member of the Property Litigation Association.
