An experienced property, project, and facilities manager who has been employed at Shoosmiths for over nine years. Currently responsible for the Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Belfast offices and provides coverage for other regions when required. The role includes ensuring full compliance with all legislative and nationwide policies, delivering exceptional client services, developing the regional team, and managing and maintaining effective health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
Over the last 5 year I have completed several projects, including assisting in the design and fit-out of the London, Edinburgh, and Glasgow offices. Rolling out new Video Conference facilities, Wireless Equipment and developing the changed Help Assistants role.
The Manchester Office was also a regional winner in the BCO Fit-out of Workspace for The XYZ Project in 2018.
The role ensures strategic improvement of environmental, health, and safety compliance across all sites. The Property and Workplace Team is responsible for Shoosmiths' property strategy, space management, and contract management. Shoosmiths is committed to protecting the environment and has set a goal to achieve net-zero status by 2025, which will only be achieved with the drive from local teams.
