Emma is a real estate lawyer with over a decade of experience, specialising in non contentious commercial real estate, acting on all aspects of portfolio management including acquisitions, disposals, leasing and refinancing. She deals with high value and complex transactions with particular expertise in the investment and occupier sectors.
Emma also supports clients within the Energy and Infrastructure Sector
with investment into, funding of and progression of clean energy development
projects, working with institutional landlords, occupiers and developers and
specialises in heat network projects and their associated infrastructure.
Her recent projects include:
- leading cross-office teams of specialist advisers in advising the Third Space Group on the acquisition of landmark locations across London to develop into bespoke fitness facilities;
- advising a leading property investment company on all aspects of portfolio management including the disposal of a prominent London office building for £76.5 million; and
- advising a leading heat networks investor, developer and operator in relation to the construction of its national heat networks.
Emma also sits on the committee of Shoosmiths’ gender equality network, Balance, and co-chairs the subcommittee for Thames Valley.
Emma trained at Stevens & Bolton in Guildford before qualifying and joining Shoosmiths in September 2014.
