Jonathan is a Partner in the London Corporate Restructuring and Advisory Team.
He is a seasoned lawyer with extensive experience advising on non-contentious corporate restructuring and insolvency matters, acting for a range of stakeholders at each stage of the business distress curve, including insolvency practitioners, boards of directors and creditors.
Jonathan's practice includes advising:
- boards of directors on their duties in circumstances of financial distress and the restructuring options available to them;
- insolvency practitioners and purchasers on business and asset sales via formal insolvency processes; and
- lenders on security enforcement and enhancement options.

- the board of directors of Spring Fibre (a full fibre broadband altnet) and, subsequently, administrators from FTI Consulting LLP on the pre-pack administration disposal to Harmony Networks
- a secured lender in relation to McGregor Logistics Ltd (in administration)
- administrators from Interpath Ltd on the pre-pack administration of Hush Brasseries Limited resulting in the rescue of the Cabana restaurant chain
- administrators from Alvarez & Marsal in relation to the administration of Troy (UK), a major buying group for tools and maintenance supplies
- ETM Group on its acquisition of various premium bars and restaurants from the Maven Leisure Group (in administration)
- Teeside Green Energy Park Limited on its acquisition of Tansterne Biomass plant from GB Bio Ltd (in administration)
- GS Real Estate Development Company Ltd on its acquisition of the East Road development project from Elements (Europe) Ltd (in administration)
