Lisa is a Partner within the Corporate department, based in the Solent office. Lisa advises on a wide range of corporate matters and her experience includes advising on acquisitions, disposals, reorganisations and corporate governance.  She works with a variety of clients including private and public companies, management teams and investors.  Lisa advises clients across a range of sectors but has particular expertise in technology, leisure, financial services and international transactions. 

Recent transactions include:

  • acting for the shareholders on the sale of the CLC Group on the sale to alternative investment firm H.I.G Capital;
  • acting for Nobody’s Child on an investment from Marks & Spencer;
  • acting for a legal tech growth company on initial seed fund raising and subsequent investments;
  • acting for Croma Security Solutions plc on the sale of its subsidiary Vigilant Security;
  • advising Portchester Equity on a number of investments and disposals, including Chevron, Hi Technology Group and St Francis Veterinary Services;
  • acting on c£300m of acquisitions in 2022 for a leisure sector business;
  • acting for Meridian Growth Capital Limited on a number of investments, including advising on the initial investment into the start up loveholidays Limited in 2012 and the eventual £190 million sale to Livingbridge Private Equity.

Lisa joined Shoosmiths in January 2011, having previously worked for a regional firm where she trained and qualified in 2007. Lisa has had secondments to Meridian Corporate Finance LLP for nine months and to ICI for six months.

Lisa read law at the University of Kent and completed her LPC at BPP in Holborn.
