Lorna Phelps is an Associate in the Residential Conveyancing Department.
 
Lorna originally joined the Conveyancing Department of Shoosmiths in 2002 after graduating with a degree in Law and French from Nottingham Trent University. Lorna was admitted as a Fellow to the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in 2007.
 
Lorna is responsible for dealing with the technical matters on a large number of Conveyancing Cases including Freehold, Leasehold, Unregistered, New Build, Shared Ownership and Retirement Properties. She manages the files from inception to post completion and oversees every aspect of the transaction.
 
In 2008 Lorna took some time off to have a family and gain new experiences, during that time she had daughter Heidi and also became experienced in accountancy before moving to Canada in 2017, whilst here Lorna gained experience in Real Estate Transactions before returning to the UK in March 2020 and was delighted to return to Shoosmiths in April 2021.
 
Outside of work Lorna enjoys travel and walking her dog Jake.
