Shani has experience advising clients on contentious employment law matters including: employment tribunal claims for unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing and team move issues. She also advises on a range of non-contentious matters including: drafting and reviewing contracts, service agreements and policies and advising on general employee relations issues such as grievances and disciplinaries. Shani also has experience assisting with internal investigations.

Shani was admitted as a solicitor in March 2020 and joined Shoosmiths in May 2022. She is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association
